Whilst we believe our standard walk-up prices are very competitive and offer a single calander month membership with NO long tie-in contracts, we will always offer discounts, for example if you sign up to pay your renewals via direct debit you will always get a cheaper rate.
Join our supervised gym sessions, a space for individuals with long-term illness or medical conditions to get support and advice to help improve physical, mental and social wellbeing.
Ever wonder why, despite all your efforts, you’re not seeing the results you crave? You’re not alone. We see more and more people here at Qfit using the gym as a social event and an opportunity to keep active whilst being able to meet people, have a chat etc.
As a small community gym, we are very reliant upon returning loyal customers and new members signing up to ensure we offer the services and facilities you would expect. Our direct debit payment options will always offer a discounted rate compared to our standard walk-up prices.
Please wear loose fitting clothing to allow movement and comfortable footwear.

We are delighted to introduce our new Instructor, Ilona, who explained;
“The classes will include some stretching and mobilisation exercises to warm up. Tai Chi Qigong exercises from various lineages will be taught to improve physical, mental, and spiritual well- being. We will begin learning a form called Phoenix in Graceful Clouds of Blessing by Master Joe Lok. All the exercises can be performed seated or standing and are suitable for any age or level of fitness.“
Ilona has been teaching tai chi to groups for over 25 years and is based in Wideopen, Newcastle upon Tyne.
